Narratives shape our mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical worlds. Transformative narratives can change those worlds for the better.

What I do

I work with social justice organizations, women- and BIPOC-led institutions, climate action initiatives, and movement-rooted efforts to build the change-making narrative power that helps us architect futures of abundance for all. As a worldbuilder, I’m rooted in not just want you want to say but in what world you’re trying to make possible. My background spans documentary film, digital campaigns, brand strategy, facilitation, in-person activations and programming, written narrative, and even a cheeky moment of songwriting.

As a multimedia and interdisciplinary story architect, the delicious interplay between tools, constraints, and vision is my favorite part of every single project.

  • No Man's Land

    Second camera on this short documentary about Alapine, a lesbian separatist community in the rural American South, directed by Anna Andersen and Gabriella Canal. No Man's Land dives into the stories of Alapine’s founders and residents: their coming out stories, what inspired them to create a separatist space in the first place, what that space means to them and their concerns for the sustainability and the future of their community.

Native Women Ride | Carlisle 200 | Short Doc (2023)

Native bikers Guarina Lopez (Pascua Yaqui) and Tsinnijinnie Russell (Diné) ride a 200-miles from Washington, D.C. to the cemetery at Carlisle Indian Boarding School in Carlisle, PA. Through rain and shine on the long gravel trail, Guarina, Tsinnijinnie, and fellow activist-bikers honor the 190+ children buried at Carlisle and raise awareness of the history and ongoing impact of the residential boarding school system on Indigenous communities.
